In July, our residents have been taking part in a flower planting project. This creates a social occasion, using this activity as an opportunity to reminisce about previous gardens they had or to discuss their favourite plants. It also encourages residents to use their hands with compost, crumbling and smoothing it with their fingers which is a sensory activity.
