There was much excitement at Portumna Retirement Village on the 5th November when the nursing home's oldest resident Kathleen O'Brien celebrated her birthday. Kathleen is 104 years old and was born before the World War 1 and before the Titantic set sail. She has seen many changes but still loves life and gets involved as best she can in activities in the nursing home.
