The Connacht Rugby flags were flying high at Portumna Retirement Village and the residents were in full voice last weekend as they cheered on Connacht to their Pro12 final win in Edinburgh. Several of the residents are ardent rugby fans that have waited several years for Connacht rugby success and there was tremendous excitement with the Connacht victory.  Residents were particularly proud of the achievements of local favourite John Muldoon who captained the side.
